Ways of making money, and what it's for
Here on Elemental Games RPG, we have a system that allows members to gain on-board forum (This money is not real). This money will be used for when your characters are reaped in the games.
Ways of Gaining Money:
The first, and probably the easiest way to gain money, is through posting. By posting in the rp areas and the creation areas, members will be given $2 per post. This means that members can get money quite quickly and quite easily. (This may change over periods of times).
The second way to gain money, is to enter and place in certain events. These events may not have anything to do with the games, and may just be random to the holiday or certain events that are going on in real, for example a birthday. Although this is essentially slightly harder to gain money with this approach, it will bring in bigger rewards, based on the event.
The third way to gain money, is by posting suggestions in the suggestions area, however, to gain your reward, your suggestion must be accepted by an Admin first. When your suggestion is accepted, you will gain a reward of $10 for each suggestion. (This may change over time).
The last way to gain money, is to win competitions, like the “Sig Of The Week”, in the Graphics Section. Although these competitions are like events, they bring in a smaller reward, and are normally repeated each week/month (Month if your character wins the games for the month).
What the money is used for:
The money that you earn on this forum, will be given to your mentor if you are ever reaped for The Hunger Games. This money is to be used by your mentor to buy your character special items that may, or may not help you during your time in the arena. However, it is up to them how much they spend on such items, and whether or not they use their own money. (Mentors are required to keep track of the money given to them for tributes on their own).
