Orion Orta, sixteen-year-old chemist, worked his way through thick foliage. Why was Orion in the forest? one might ask. Well, he was looking for something. What would he be looking for in the forest when he could be caught? The answer was simple:
A blue plant.
It started in District Six, when one of the other teenagers bragged about going into the woods, which was against the rules. When asked what he saw, he replied proudly: a blue plant. Being a scientist, Orion automatically wanted to examine the plant; get a sample. He had luckily come across the fence during one of it's maintenance shut-off periods. He had climbed over it with a iron pipe and a resealable bag, and set off to find this plant, maybe find out why it was blue.
Now, Orion came across a fallen tree and sat, drenched in sweat from being unused to such work. He was pondering whether he should turn back just in case the maintenance period had ended soon, when he heard some rustling in the leaves to his left. He scrambled and crouched behind the wood barrier brandishing his pipe as though it was a formidable weapon, knowing that if someone who knew how to fight came along, he'd die. Or worse, if a patrol from the Capital came by.

Panthea couldn't handle being shut up and forced to hunt to tamed animals in her district. She wanted the real thing. Which is how she ended up out here in the open forest. She gazed around at her surroundings. If she got caught out here, she'd be in major trouble. But did she care? No.
With a bow in her hands and an arrow strung, she walked carefully through the forest. She didn't want to make a sudden noise and cause any wildlife to flee from her. She loved hunting. It was the only place where she could play god. Here, she was the huntress and the animals were her prey.
Her eyes darted from side to side. She hadn't come across any big game yet. She wanted to take home a deer. Suddenly, she saw the shadow of a figure she couldn't quit make out. It looked rather large. She took a step to hide behind a tree but her boot made a twig snap. She froze. Crap.

Reana sat on a large tree branch, bow and arrow in her hands at the ready, as she waited for some kind of animal to walk into the clearing that the boy around her age was in. She had been here for a while, a little longer than the boy had, and was seeing how long it would take before he would look up and notice her. 'Well, he looks like one of those smartie peoples, District...6? Or is it 7? Eh.'
She was just about to jump down and surprise the boy when she heard a twig snap. Moveing with a practiced grace, she swung down and loosed an arrow from her bow at the sound while upside down. Judgeing by how loudly the boy gasped/screamed she must have surprised him pretty badly.

Racham was out fighting the bulls in his district, like usual. However, when he had seen Panthea head for the fence earlier, a grin spread across his face. He knew that she'd gone hunting, so he decided that he would follow her. Surprisingly though, he left armed, also with a bow and arrow.
When the twig snapped because of her boot, he swiftly, and also quite silently, ran up behind her and grabbed her easily with one arm, and then sped up into a tree, pulling both their bodies up with the other. He was hoping she wouldn't react to his massive body suddenly grabbing her like that, but he knew it was the only way to keep her hidden from this shadow that was lurking in the forest. If she did react however, he would tighten his hold slightly so that she wouldn't be able to struggle too much, and would show her his face before climbing into the tree.
When he had them both in the tree, Racham concealed them both in the leaves of the tree, watching the shadow silently, his boy and quiver of arrows were on his back. He really didn't like the way she had frozen back there, and was starting to consider asking her about it when they got back to the District, now however, he was just slightly concerned for their safety. The shadow could have been anything, maybe someone from the Capitol. That's the only one he worried about the most.

Escaping the District had been simple, and Amelia couldn't help but think that it was on purpose. People from the Capitol could catch them here and do whatever they liked, this was a place where they could easily become prey. However, the chance to get away was too tempting to refuse, and so she had taken it with a greedy hand. Escaping the electric fence had been difficult, since her element was water and water and electricity do not mix. She had made it though, and that was she asked for. The forest was thick, and she had passed a small deer during her traveling. Had she been frightened, she would have brought something to fight with. But with wildlife came water, and she could sense that it was not too far away. She had been born quite gifted, and could draw on water from afar. Amy had been smart enough, however, to bring a container full of enough water to shield herself while she drew on this outside force. If she really had to, however, she could draw on the moistured air -- though this would require quite a bit of energy. Her footfalls were silent as she crept along, pushing away the underbrush with careful fingers. She came to a part where the land sloped dramatically, and the trees were positioned perfectly so she could see ahead of her but no one could see her -- unless they were really looking. From there, she could see almost everything. A slight movement up a tree caught her eye as she crouched, balancing on her toes and three fingers. Everyone was at a stand-still, and nothing was happening. It would stay like this till someone made a move, and she figured it mightaswell have been her. Opening her container of water, she stared at it and considered her options. She could save it for later in case she needed to defend herself, or use it now. Catching herself before she sighed, she decided to use it now. The water seemed to draw itself out on its own, before collecting into the tight form of a ferret. The water's edges were held intact, but the inside seemed to swirl about. Though, it was quite detailed, with little ears, a long tail and eyes -- though it could not see. It was completely under her own control. It bounced off of her hand and down through the underbrush. It came out in the clearing of the one who had first come. It twitched its ears and sniffed in a friendly mannor. Amelia figured that if there was anyway to signal her presence while simultaneously keeping her place secret and figuring out if this was a friendly person, this was it. Depending on his reactions, she would also send the water being up the trees to the other people.

Orion became confused. He heard a twig snap, an arrow embedded itself right beside him, something whooshed past the treeline, and a weird, translucent-blue creature had popped out of the tall grass. He whirled his head around. There had to be many people to have all of this done, and his position was obviously well-known. It bothered him that he was the only person who had no clue what was going on.
He looked at his surroundings. He noticed a number of plants nearby, but none whose chemicals could create a weapon. Well, there was a plant, when exposed to carbon dioxide at a certain time of year, that would create a massive amount of smoke. While his mind calculated the chance of him dying, his body dove to the left and broke the stem of the red-flowered plant and blew on it, hoping to any God that this was the correct time of year.
Luckily, it was, and Orion was quickly consumed by a massive amount of thick, white smoke, obscuring him from the view of any onlookers from one side of the clearing. Unfortunately, Orion hadn't noticed the hill on the other side and it was a clean shot from any possible killers to take him out.
((Sorry if the smoke was powerplay; I needed some sort of wild card in this game. I'll happily change it.))

She gasped a little as Rachem's arm wrapped around her but she knew that the massive limb belonged to him. She didn't struggle as he pulled her up the tree, instead she smiled ever so slightly. She was a little confused as to how he had followed her so silently. She was sure that she looked behind her to make sure no one was following. She never assumed that someone such as him could move so silently. She would have to be more careful.
Once he had stopped moving, she tried to get her footing on the limb. She looked at him and smiled, shaking her head. He had got her. She had to get him sometime. "I don't think he's a Capitol member" she whispered very quietly into Rachem's ear, her eyes staying connected to the person's shadow.
However, her expression became dumbfounded as she started to see the smoke. What is that? Her curiosity started to grow and she forced herself from Rachem's arms. She slung her bow over her back and put the arrow back in the quiver. Silently, she hoisted herself onto the branch above Rachem and scooted out as far as she dared, trying to gain a better look at this stranger.

With in a few seconds of looseing her arrow a strange series of events that could only happen after fireing an arrow while upside down. A blue human thing jumping out of the bushes, the thing she shot at disappearing back into the bushes and another arrow thudding next to the boy. She couldn't really react when a large ammount of smoke bundled up from a flower in the boy's hand and engulfed her. Coughing, Reana fell from the branch that she was on and landed heavily on the ground near the boy. Glareing up at the boy, she muttered though boughts of coughing, "Why did you do that you idiotic smart guy? That stinks to high heaven!"

Racham didn't even try to see through the smoke, instead, he remained where he was. However, when he heard the fairly young female voice, he started to become curious. Just who were they stalking? It didn't sound like anyone from the Capitols patrol. Racham's curiosity forced him to jump down from his hiding spot, with quite a loud thud as he landed in a crouch. He was un-armed as he stood back up and looked around, although he was now on the ground, he didn't move from his spot at first, instead, he just pondered about what weapons these people might have. He knew one had a bow, and that wasn't much of a threat. He also knew that one could make smoke, annoying, but not that bad.
With this cleared up, Racham walked further and further into the thick smoke, not being able to see any more than a few centimetres ahead of him, so he relied on his senses of touch and sound to pin-point his enemies. He was hoping though that Panthea wouldn't follow him, he didn't want her getting into a fight in this smoke, it could prove fatal from them both. The only reason he was in it himself, was to protect her.

His confusion made her smile softly, and he was obviously oblivious to her current standing. Out of all of them, it seemed as if she were the most safe. That wasn't out of the ordinary, though, since she was normally quite cautious of strangers -- though welcoming, in a sense. She watched in silence, still balancing precariously in her crouching position, and watched him dive for a plant. Suddenly, his breath carried a massive amount of smoke, though in the opposite direction from herself. Had she, too, been skilled with arrows she still would have had a good shot. Luckily for him, though, she had no such desire. Her ferret followed her eyes, and came out of the smoke to the otherside where Orion was standing without trouble. None of these beings seemed particularly hostile, but Amelia was not sure if she should show herself. Suddenly, her little water being burst apart into a random form and came back (in a very round-about way) back to her container where it splashed in quietly. These people were shooting their arrows blindly, not particularly trying to hit him. With a small smile, Amelia crept to her feet and began to walk silently down the sharp incline. It was with a calm step that she showed herself to these others. "He did it to thwart his enemies, only to find that there are none here." Amy said with a soft voice, "I am Amelia." Amy's voice had a way of calming people down, and she hoped it would do something to ease the tension that was already creeping among them.

Orion jumped up as someone jumped down from a tree. It wasn't normal for a person from the Capitol to climb trees, right? It had to be unbecoming, or something.
"Why'd you do that, idiotic smart guy? That stinks to high heaven!"
The voice sounded kind of feminine, but at the moment, it didn't matter to Orion. He turned in the direction of the voice, still not able to see the source through the smoke. Though, it was starting to dissapate with the wind. Orion's grip tightened on the iron pipe, hoping that none of the obviously multiple people questioned his pipe-weilding skills.
"He did it to thwart his enemies, only to find there are none here," said a soft voice. Orion whipped around, thoroughly confused now, to see a girl, around his age walking down an incline he hadn't noticed earlier. "I am Amelia," she said.
Her voice was sort of calm, and soothing. It certainly made Orion want to put his pipe down, because he wouldn't dream of hurting someone with such a voice. He didn't, though, because he knew that there were others here, perhaps enemies, despite what Amelia had said. Knowing it could do no harm, Orion spoke:
"My name is Orion."

Panthea remained carefully perched on a thin branch, in complete view of Orion and the others. If any sudden movement shook the branch the wrong way, she was sure she would fall. However, she didn't care.
Her bow had been replaced in her hands and she had an arrow strung. Her ice blue eyes were jumping from person to person. First to the girl with the other bow and arrows. Then to the pipe-wielding, Idiot, before they jumped to the girl behind Orion. Even though she believed that Orion was of no threat with his pipe, she didn't know what District he was from. He didn't look to be from District Nine. And if he was from the District that could manipulate metal, they could all be in some serious trouble. She wasn't too worried about the girl with the bow and arrows, either. Right now, from Panthea's position, she was in no position to fire an arrow.
Her voice rang out above all the others, dominating and cold. "Put down the pipe or I will make you put down the pipe." Panthea was pretty sure she could hit the pipe in a single shot. But if she couldn't she could always aim for his hand.

A grin caused Racham's lip to curl up in a slightly sadistic way as Panthea called out and he revealed himself. “Better do as she says, kiddies.” His massive figure stood in front of the tree that Panthea was in. His own deep voice was cold, and just as dominating. Although he had a bow and some arrows on his back, he had nothing in his arms, and other than his bulky mass, he didn't look all that threatening. His hair was billowing slightly in the wind, which revealed his eye-patch, that might have made him seem that much more threatening. The one eye that he had however, was watching all of the people currently visible to him, and his arms were folded across his chest.
