The cool night air felt good as Katalina walked through the streets of District Ten, the area quiet as the people where asleep. After all, it was late and everyone else was tired from their work day. However, Kat found she couldn't sleep and thus, found it necessary to escape through her bedroom window to explore the quiet streets. But, not much could be found to interest her in the boring old cobble-stone District. And so, she found it necessary to find herself another place that she frequently escaped to.
With watery-blue eyes looking around, making sure there really wasn't anybody in the streets, she started to look around for a way to get over the electric walls that caged all the people. Finally, she found the spot, climbing to the roof of a house, being careful not to make a noise, and jumping over the fence, grabbing onto the branch of a tree on the other side. Finally getting over, she slithered down the trunk, feet hitting the ground with a slight whisper of sound as the blades of grass moved. Looking around once more, she moved deeper into the forest, body disappearing into the undergrowth.
After about half an hour of wandering the dark woodland, Katalina came upon a large clearing, filled with the sounds of the wind as it lightly tossled the leaves, as well as the stream that bubbled lazily. A small smile gracing her features, the young girl walked into the field, sitting down on the bed of grass before gazing up at the moon, lost in thought. However, after several minutes, the snapping sounds of twigs entered her ears, causing her to turn and gaze at the trees in anxiousness. Thankfully, it was just a stray cat that she had met before in her escapes to the forest that had caught her scent and had come to look for her. After a small conversation with the cat, she laid down upon the comfortable earth, gazing up at the moon once more as she pet the cat beside her, lost in thought.

Kuromai, the pink-haired Peacekeeper turned rebel. She had never been one for rules, they also drove her insane. Rules were created so that people who thought they were of a “better class” than you could control your life. Quite pathetic really. Unhappy with their own lives, probably because they don't get a lot of activities in the bedroom department, so determined to make other peoples lives hell. It was the same with the Capitol. They had it all, money, clothes, food, entertainment, hell, they have those pills that make them through up the entire contents of their stomachs, just so they can eat more and more food. Despicable. Especially when everyone else in the 12 Districts were starving. It made her sick how much The Capitol treated the Districts like animals. That's why she left. That's why she killed that Peacekeeper, who was also her Commanding Officer type thing. That's why this man hating woman now lives in the surrounding forests of Panem, doing nothing but what she wants to do, when she wants to do it.
The Crimson-eyed, female-warrior, Amazon, like huntress was making her way to one of her favourite streams with crystal clear water, and a large clearing that was littered with wild-flowers and soft grass. Though, she didn't like staying exposed in the clearing for too long, she feared that The Capitols Hovercrafts would find her, and then use those net's that they used to catch a person who had escaped the Districts and then would take them back to The Capitols labs where the unfortunate person would have their tongue removed, quite painfully one would imagine, and then would be forced to work as a slave, or an Avox as The Capitol call them, probably so it sounds less harsh. Kuromai shuddered slightly at the thought of being an Avox, she felt a little sorry for them whenever she saw one helping out with the Hunger Games.
When she approached the edge of the clearing, she was completely hidden in the dark shadows that the large tree's gave off around her. She looked around cautiously, she had been spotted here, or so she thinks, by a Hovercraft before, so she had to be more careful from now on. That's when she saw the blue-eyed and blue-haired girl enter the clearing, Kuromai's clearing. She glared under her breath slightly, but then figured, why not use this to her advantage? She still had her Peacemaker sword, she had burned the clothes just after she fled District 12 to cut all ties from her old life, and to get the following Peacemakers off of her tail. The only reason she had kept the sword, and the handgun, was because they would help her hunt, and fight off anyone who found her and was from the Capitol. Though she had to have a guy from District one modify her gun so that it would instead shoot ivory bullets instead of metal ones. The thought of having to rely on a guy to do something for her was enough to make her suddenly forget her hatred for this strange girl how was carelessly lying in the soft grass. So she decided to make her appearance, guessing that there were no traps, since nothing happened to her new friend.
”A little late for sight-seeing, don'cha think?” Although she was female, she had quite a rough sounding voice, which made her seem more threatening as she left the comfort of the forests shadows, with her sword that seemed to be glowing a dark blue now, held in her right hand, with the tip pointing down.

Raisa had been through this area many times before. She never went too far from her district. It's not that she loved her district. Her brother's presence was just strongest there. Her brother was the only person she ever truly cared about. She couldn't care less about her mother. She could fall down a well and she'd just say that the abusive bitch deserved it. Though, she didn't hate her mother for verbally abusing her. She hated her for physically abusing Rowan. Rowan wouldn't let Raisa get hit. Not even once. He was her shield, her light at the end of the tunnel. So after he got reaped, she had to leave. So she did. She didn't know that her brother was still alive. Her first thought passing by the electric fence when she saw the empty house was that he had died in the Games. And her mother lost it because she had no one to push around and abuse all day so offed herself. Whatever. She didn't care. Though, she didn't know that they both had moved into a new house. A better house. A house where her mother no longer abuses Rowan. A house where everything was perfect. Except for one, missing piece.
Raisa had to close her eyes. She missed her brother so much. Rowan Roark. A sigh escaped her and she started to fiddle with the black necklace that she wore around her neck when his name popped into her mind. It was his necklace. She took it before he left. She was afraid she would forget him. The necklace was to help her remember. Help her never forget. She couldn't forget him.
Her thoughts were broken when she nearly hit a tree. Time to take a little turn and head in a new direction. Hopefully it would be a positive change. A good one. She needed a change. She couldn't be homesick. Not now. Not ever. Because home didn't exist anymore. It left her when her brother's name was called in the reaping. It left her when he traveled to the Capitol on the train. It left her and went with him.
She began to swim in her lost memories once more. She remembered the first night her mother had laid a hand on him. However, the dark memory was interrupted as she heard someone's voice. A man's? No. It wasn't right. It was rough but not right.
Her green eyes flicked up and landed on Kuromai's back. She had a blade. And not a normal one. Was she from the Capitol? Oh no. Oh no no no no. She couldn't be captured. Not here. Not now. Raisa looked around quickly before she settled on a tree. Quickly but clumsily, she climbed into a tree and perched herself on a branch. She wasn't that balanced but she didn't care. Maybe they'd just think the noise was made from a squirrel. She was rather thin, having not eaten a lot the past couple years.
Raisa's eyes closed tight and she prayed. Not to a god that she didn't believe in. She prayed to Rowan. She prayed that his soul - wherever it may be - would protect her, like he always did.

A soft smile graced Katalina's lips as the wind played loving with her long blue locks as she sat in thought, looking up at the moon. However, her smile could not be perceived as happy. More so, it was sad and longing than that. Longing for her brother, her mother, her father. Anyone that she could call her family from long ago that no longer was around to be called that. Sure, she had her grandparents and she loved them dearly, but they were old and wouldn't be around forever. They couldn't provide the gentle embrace of a mother, the strong support of a father, or the teasing love of a brother. They tried their best to be their for her, but they just couldn't do it. But, before her thoughts could proceed on these pitiful tracks any longer, Katalina stopped herself. She had a happy life, living with her grandparents. They offered their unconditional love for her, and that was enough for her.
Lifting her arm up to wipe away the lone tear that had trekked its way down her cheek, sounds from the forest began to catch her attention. An uneasy feeling began to take over her, and it didn't help that the stray cat that lay beside her jumped up and began to hiss and spit. It was than that a deep voice entered the clearing, startling the girl, causing her sit up and look at the intruder in anxiousness. However, the anxiousness that filled her eyes was quickly gone as she noticed it was a woman a few years her senior. She didn't seem to be like one of the Capitol, so she didn't pose an extreme threat to her. In her mind. And, being the happy and cheerful character Katalina is, she didn't notice the woman's cold tone. However, she did notice the sword. This didn't alarm the young girl though, as many wore swords with them. At least, thats the reason she thought up as to not be afraid of the glowing piece of weaponry.
Oh, hello miss! You startled me, you walk so quietly! And yes, it is quite late. But, I couldn't sleep and I needed to think. So, I came to the forest and came across this lovely clearing. Would you like to join me, Katalina inquired, a bright smile coming across her features as she looked up at the older woman. Though the woman seemed to be rather cold, her gaze sharp, this didn't deter Kat as she tried to make friends with the woman. After all, she liked making friends. However, a shadow in the forest caught her attention as she saw another girl, one standing amongst the trees, look at the two woman in the clearing in fear before scrambling up the tree. Not wanting the other girl to be noticed, hoping this other woman hadn't noticed her because she seemed generally frightened and Kat didn't want her to feel more fear, she quickly looked at the older woman. Oh, I hope that squirrel will be ok! It took quite the fall from the tree!
