Panthea was perched in the same tree, on the same branch, she had been for hours. Her bow was in her hands and she had an arrow strung. The same arrow from hours before. She had been waiting for something - anything to come by so she could actually take something back home and get praise. She had always been one of the best hunters. Her aim was spectacular. But nothing has come across her path. Not a deer. Nor a rabbit. Not even a squirrel! She couldn't have her skills going to waste and becoming rusty before the Games started.
A heavy sighed escaped the huntress. She felt stupid being perched in this tree with her bow and arrow at the ready. At the ready to shoot air! She hated this.. this... What exactly was this? It wasn't a forest. It wasn't a field. Whatever it was, it was fake. And she hated it. She needed something new. Something real. Something not filled with tamed animals that she could easily catch. She wanted a challenge. That was one of her reasons for wanted to participate in the Games. It was a challenge. A hunting challenge.
Her eyes glanced around at her surroundings before she put the bow on her back and her arrow back in the quiver. Carefully and silently, she climbed down from the tree and started her way deeper into the fake hunt. It looked like she was going to have to chase her prey this time. Oh well.

Racham was wrestling with a bull in the deeper parts of the hunting area. The sound of the bulls cries were loud, and easily filled the air, as was his laughter. He had the bulls horns gripped firmly with both of his hands as it tried to struggle against him to release them, and with what looked to be great effort, he was just able to suppress the animals strength with his own.
When he had heard someone approaching, he quickly pulled the bulls head down, with slight difficulty, and then put all of his weight on the bulls neck, forcing the bull's head down into the ground, in which, it's body quickly followed. Racham kept the bull in this state until it had calmed down, he then released it to see who was coming his way. However, when he saw it was Panthea, he smiled and walked over to her.
“Hey, hey”

Panthea heard the bull's cries, she knew she had found Racham. She might as well have fun while she's getting nothing done. She followed the sounds of the bull's cry and smiled ever so slightly when she saw Racham. She was strong but he was stronger. When he turned away from the bull, she kept her eyes on it. She didn't want the bull to suddenly pierce him. "You're going to get that other eye taken away playing with these bulls, Racham," she chided jokingly. Though, sometimes she really did worry about that.
Casually, she walked up to him, her eyes never leaving the bull for more than a couple of seconds. Her hands moved into the back pockets of her pants as she finally removed her eyes from the bull and looked at Racham.

Racham chuckled at Panthea's comment, it tickled him. “Well, if that does happen, at least I know I have someone to take care of me and by my own sexy nurse.” He grinned at her as she walked over to him, and when she was close enough, he reached out with both arms and wrapped them around her waist before he pulled her into his body and kissed her softly. “I'm guessing you bored?” He smiled as he looked down at her, his gaze locked on her eyes. He did not care about the bull, as he thought it was fairly safe to simply ignore it at the moment. He doubted that it would attack him again after being defeated in a test of strength. Bulls were usually quite prideful animals after all.
Racham was starting to become bored himself, he longed for adventure, for new fights. He wanted to be outside of the fence, venturing around the forest with Panthea. Living the life of a roaming hunter. Not some caged animal, because that's all he considered himself to be. He saw his life to being no different to the animals kept in the hunting area. Bred to be killed.

She nodded a little as he said someone would take care of him. He was right. She would always be there for him. "Ah, but you wouldn't be able to see this nurse of yours." She smiled as he wrapped his arms around him and kissed him back. "The hunt sucks major bull today," she sighed heavily in her complaint. She needed to bring something home to her father or she'd have to hunt all night. His rules. He just wanted her to be a good huntress. "I'm really bored. Hey. How about we play a game of tag hide and see?" She gazed up at Racham, smiling. She might not be able to hunt animals but she could hunt him. It would be a step up, alright and help her train (even though it's against the law) for the Games.
She really wanted to be in the Games though she never volunteered because her father would hate it. Her father had always tried to keep her out of the Games because he wasn't able to keep her brother out. But she was determined to play the ultimate game of the hunt.

“The hunt always sucks.” He retorted, he hated hunting here, it was boring, and it was silly. At least, that's what he thought. You can't really call killing a few tamed animals hunting. When she suggested a little game that would involve them hunting each other, his eyes lit up brightly. “That sounds great, it'll help me to train for the games.” He smiled, he hadn't told her yet that he was planning on volunteering this year, he wasn't really sure if he would or not yet. He knew though, that if she was reaped, he'd volunteer immediately, so he could protect her in the games. He looked around the area, deciding where it would be best for them to hunt each other. “In the deepest parts of the hunting area?” He suggested as he turned his head back to her and smiled.
His mind started to wonder off to the games, the ultimate hunt, he looked forward to the next reaping, secretly hoping that he would be reaped. Would Panthea volunteer if I was reaped? He pondered to himself, but then shook his head. He knew she liked hunting things, but the idea of her being in the games, upset him.

Of course the game would take part in the deepest part of the woods. She nodded at his question. "You hide, I seek." She turned her back to him and closed her eyes.
She had already assumed that Racham would volunteer for the Games. And if he was, she was going to as well. She had full confidence that he would win, but the Careers were the only people she was worried about killing him. If he was going to die, it was going to be in her arms. And she was going to avenge his death one way or another. She wanted her eyes to be the last thing he saw as she wanted his eye to be the last things she saw. And at this rate, he was going to lose his eye to the damned bull.

Racham nodded as he grinned and quickly kissed her before running off deeper into the hunting area. He didn't really have to think about where he was going to hide, because every time she got too close, he was going to hide in his shadow, it might be cheating, but he wasn't sure. He quickly darted up a tree that was quite large, and quite dark, even though he was so bulky, he was also very fast, and agile.
He was determined that if Panthea was going to end up in the arena, he would protect her with his life, he would never leave her side unless he thought it was safe enough to leave her on her own. He was also sure, that if she was in the games, that she would win, he would allow her to kill him, or commit suicide that would make her win, and that he would die with a smile, not with a face of anger or any other emotion.

Panthea silently counted to one hundred in her head. She knew he didn't need this long. She just wanted to wait. Maybe he'd decide to really try and hide. Maybe he'd use his shadows. She didn't know nor did she care. The tougher he was to find, the better.
Her arms crossed over her chest as she thought about hot to make this game better. Once she found him, she would tell him her idea. They both should be the seekers and split up. Whoever found who first and "killed" would win. She smiled at the idea of her game. Being the hunter and the prey at the same time should give her an all time adrenaline rush. It would probably make her paranoid, though, at the same time. She liked to win.
Once she had reached one hundred, she slowly turned around and grabbed her bow from off her back. She reached behind her and pulled an arrow from her quiver, stringing it in the bow. Slowly and silently, she started to move forward.
After a little while, she found herself in front of Racham's tree. Her eyes searched the area for him, a small smile on her lips.

When Racham stood in front of her tree, he smiled, she was already so close to him, but did she know it? He kept still and silent, so that he wouldn't give his position away, he'd be almost perfectly visible if she were to look up right now, it filled his body with adrenaline, especially when he saw she was armed, he couldn't help but turn his smile into a grin. But then he started to worry that she was going to find him, he didn't want to be found this quickly, so he slowly, and quite quietly, moved around to the other side of the trunk and started to climb higher into the tree.
When he perched himself on a branch that was slowly starting to give under his weight, he quickly and easily, snapped a branch, as quietly as he could, from below him, and threw it as hard as he could into the open sky in front of him. It's weight, and the drag of the leaves, didn't allow the branch to travel that far though, and crashed, with a lot of noise, into a tree and it's leaves and branches just a few yards away. He used the opportunity to once again move to the right of the tree's trunk to observe Panthea.

Panthea was stood perfectly still, listening carefully. She wanted to hear every single noise that was there to hear. Just in case Racham did make a noise. Which he hardly ever did. So this was crucial. And as he started to move, her head twitched slightly. She had tilted it up just a little. She could hear him move and snapped her head up in the direction, her arrow and bow raised, ready to fire. But she didn't see anything. Squirrel? She wasn't exactly sure what that was. Then she heard the branch snap and then heard it crash into the tree. Quickly, she made her way over to the fallen branch, thinking it had fallen from the tree it hit. She bent her neck, looking up into the empty tree, her eyes searching for Racham. No squirrel could snap a branch that big. Nor a bird. She started to search the other trees, turning in a complete three-sixty so get a complete view.

Racham made absolutely no sound as he started to slowly climb down the opposite side of the tree that Panthea was on. As soon as he reached the ground, he threw a small pebble into a tree that was on the right side of him, and behind two other tree's, but through a gap. He then quickly sank into his shadow at the foot of the tree he was at. He was smiling, and having fun, he was hoping that Panthea would now become confused and would start to become slightly distressed.

The huntress' head snapped in the direction that he through the first pebble and then the others. He was messing with her. That or she was surrounded by squirrels. But since she hadn't seen any, she just assumed that he was, in fact, messing with her. Which meant he was near. She started to walk back to the first tree and looked around. She had to catch him. She didn't see him, though. He must be using his shadows. Very smart, Racham. She smiled as she thought it.

Racham smiled as he watched Panthea as she stood in front of him. He very cautiously reached out of his shadow with his arm, and grabbed another pebble. He then quickly threw this pebble to the left into another tree, but threw it up so it crashed into the leaves and the branches, however, this tree was only a few yards away from his current position. After releasing the pebble, he quickly pulled his arm back into the shadow. He knew he wouldn't be able to keep this up for long, he'd have to find a way go get away from here. But how?

"Come out, come out, where ever you are," She whispered softly but dominating. Like she did with all her prey. A small smirk was still on her lips. She could tell she was close. Maybe she could lure him out someway. She licked her lips a little as she waited for something - anything. Then she heard the noise that the pebble had caused and her head snapped in that direction. She saw nothing, once again. It was just another trap. "Aw, enough of these games," she purred softly, talking to herself mostly. Her eyes swept the area and then focused on his shadow. He could be in there. But how would she find out? She pondered this thought, tilting her head to the side before she walked off, quickly, quietly. If she couldn't go to her prey, her prey would have to come to her.
